THE FIRE OF SUFFERING

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” (II Corinthians 4:17)

The fire of suffering is what makes the gold of holiness shine. God has a purpose behind every problem. He uses circumstances to form our character. In fact, He depends more on circumstances to make us more like Him than of our reading of the Bible. The reason is obvious: we face circumstances twenty-four hours a day.
