“Where is
boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law
of faith.”(Romans 3:27 ) Romans 10:8-17; II
Corinthians 1:20
In Romans 10:10
we find the Law of the Faith, which is to believe with the heart and to confess
with the mouth. Faith cannot be express unless it is spoken. The mouth is the
instrument by which faith is loosened.
According to
this passage, the spirit of faith is manifested in that if a person believes
something they should speak it. This is the law of faith in operation; a person
who has the spirit of faith must speak the things that he believes. (Mark
11:23)
In Romans 10:10
it is seen that "with the heart man believeth..." What is believed?
That what the Word of God says is true. To believe with the heart is to believe
that God's Word is true in spite of what the circumstances say.
Romans 10:17
says "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing, by the Word of
God." The law of faith begins when we believe with the heart the Word of
God and then faith is produced in us.
Romans 10:10
says: “... and with the mouth confession is made....” That is to say, that in
order for faith to receive something it has to be loosened with words. II
Corinthian 4:13 says: “I believed, and therefore have I spoken;” If you have
believed something of the Word of God, then you should speak it. Our faith is
loosened by means of our words.
