THREE DIVINE PERSONS?

“I and my Father are one” (John 10:30)

1) If there are three divine persons, what portion of divinity do two of them possess? Because the Holy Scriptures declares that the fullness of divinity is in Jesus: “For of his fullness we have all… (John 1:16), “For in him dwells all the fullness of the Deity bodily” (Col. 2:9).

The God Jehovah of the Old Testament says there is no one besides Him. “Thus says Jehovah… I am the first, and I am the last, and besides me there is no god… there is no god but me… I know none” (Isaiah 44:6-8).

2) If there are three divine persons, which of them is more powerful? Because Genesis 17:1 says: “…I am the God Almighty…’ referring to the God Jehovah. But Revelation 1:8 states: “…Who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty (referring to Jesus Christ).

3) If there are three divine persons, why is there only one throne in heaven? “…I went in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne” (Revelation 4:2). “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up…” (Isaiah 6:1).

4) If there are three divine persons, who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead? Jesus himself says “…in three days I will raise him up…” speaking of the temple of his body (John 2:19-21). While the Lord Jesus Christ makes this statement of raising himself. Paul says in Romans 4:24 “…To those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.” And in Romans 8:11 it says: “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead…

5) If they are three divine persons, why do they all have the same name? For Jesus says: I have come in the name of my Father…” (John 5:43), “Father… I have manifested your name to men (John 17:5-6) and in John 17:25-26 it says: “Righteous Father, I have manifested to them your name…” and the only name that as we all know He manifested is, “Jesus.” Therefore we see that the name of the Father is Jesus.

Matthew 1:21 states: “And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus…” the name of the son Jesus. John 14:26 says: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name…” (That name is Jesus). John 14:26 says, “But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name…” (That name is Jesus).

6) If there are three divine persons, what if the Lord Jesus has two Fathers?

     A) The one who begot him, the Holy Spirit, Matthew 1:18-20

     B) Or the one to whom he prayed? (John 17:5)

7) If there are three divine persons,

     A) Which one of them dwells in the believer?

     B) And if all three, which one should we glorify?

     C) And if all three, which one first or in what order?

D) And if the Father first, then the Son, and then the Holy Spirit, should we only speak to the Son by his name, Jesus?

     E) If the other two have names, what are those names?

8) If there are three divine persons, what spirit does each one possess? And which one does the believer possess? Ephesians 4:4 says: “a body and a spirit...

Genesis 1:2 says: “…And the Spirit of God…”

Romans 8:9 says: “The Spirit of God dwells in you and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

Galatians 4:6 says: “…Because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of His son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father.”

9) If there are three divine persons, which of the three is constituted as king in the heavenly kingdom? For in Psalm 10:16 it says: “Jehovah, King forever and ever...”

Psalm 95:3 says: “Jehovah is a great God; and a great King above all gods.”

Revelation 19:16 says of Christ “… King of kings and Lord of lords.”

10) If there are three divine persons, which one of them will come to earth? Zechariah 14:5 says: “And the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with him.” Paul says: “…for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints” (1 Thessalonians 3:13). John says: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, the Word of God” (Revelation 19:11-13). The Lord Jesus Christ himself declares: “And that he was, and that he is, and that the Almighty is coming” (Revelation 1:8). This is Jesus.

11) If there are three divine persons, which one will judge us? In Isaiah 33:22 it says: “For the Lord is our judge…” In II Corinthians 5:10 it says: “We all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…”

12) If they are three divine persons, why is Jesus the “name above every name?” (Philippians 2:9 and Ephesians 1:21)

Why does Saint Paul recommend that we do everything in the name of Jesus? (Colossians 3:17)

Why does Saint Peter say that there is no salvation in any other name? Acts 4:12

Therefore, if Father, Holy Spirit, Jehovah, Son, etc. are another name, they are of no use because there is no salvation in them, only in the name: “JESUS.”

Therefore, if the Father and the Holy Spirit have their names, and are other divine persons, there is nothing to look for in them since all fullness and all salvation is only in Jesus (Acts 4:12).

Divine tritheism does not exist in the scriptures.

“Tri,” three + “Theism,” from “theos” God = Three Gods

There is a trinity in the “One God” who manifests Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Spirit in the hearts of believers.

But the fact that He manifests Himself in three offices or operations does not mean that there are three gods or two, as some believe (one Almighty and another just Powerful).

Let us be honest and accept the truth: That God is one (Deut. 6:4, Mark 12:29) and consequently, His name is one: JESUS.

Believing in three Gods is similar to paganism, which believes not only in three but in more: Polytheism: “Poli” various + “Theism” from Theos = God
